A Win for All of Norfolk

HeadWaters Resort & Casino will be a premier tourism destination for people from all over the Mid-Atlantic and beyond to visit. It is estimated that 6.2 million people will visit each year! Yes, you read that right. HeadWaters is expected to generate 6.2 MILLION visits annually. This infusion of tourists from all over the country will have a tremendous impact on businesses all over the Hampton Roads region. Of those 6.2 million visitors, nearly a million of them are expected to be coming from out of state.

Not only are these visitors great for generating local tax revenue, but they will also bring more sales revenue to surrounding restaurants, hotels and locally-owned small businesses. While many of our visitors will stay at the resort, there will be plenty who want to see what else Norfolk has to offer and will choose to book rooms at other hotels and explore other dining and entertainment options. Making Norfolk the premier destination in all of Hampton Roads will be a boon for the local economy and help elevate the City’s tourism reputation to its proper location at the top of the list!
